History
Project Pinball Charity was founded on August 19, 2013 by Daniel Spolar. While touring Golisano's Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, Mr. Spolar noticed an inoperable 2007 Spider-Man Pinball Machine that the hospital had attempted for eight months to find someone who could fix it. Mr. Spolar inspected the machine and found that it had been played 21,332 times in two years, a very high amount of playtime. After repairing the machine, Mr. Spolar went on to found Project Pinball Charity to help other hospitals assist in their patient rehabilitation. Since then they have been assisted by pinball manufacturers such as Stern to donate machines to hospitals.
Project Pinball Charity has a silver rating from Guidestar.
